Default Headlight failure

I replaced my low beam lamp today. It worked for an hour and then went out again... I'm trying to figure out what would cause that. Does anyone have any answers?

The connector plugs are know for melting and once they do bulbs don't last very long. I ordered replacement ceramic connectors on ebay, cut the old ones off, and soldered the new on. After that my bulbs started lasting much longer.

So what you say makes sense. I've been having a similar problem. My passenger light goes on and off I just paid $60 to have a shop put in a nice new ones and a week later the passenger light went out again :/ I have to open the space where the light is wiggle it and it comes back on but still not as bright as my side low beam light. Almost like it's not getting all 12volts? Also my low beam failure light will be on and the light is on??? Very mysterious

If you think you're not getting full voltage, I'd suspect a back socket or ground.
