Help: Fuel Pump and Turbo Cooling Hose
Hello Everyone,
My car died on me on the freeway yesterday. Just sputtered then wouldn't restart. Got it towed to the shop. They diagnosed it as dead fuel pump. Cost to repair is $1050. Does this sound right?
They also found that the turbo coolant hose is leaking (pinhole). Said cost to repair is $1300. They said the parts cost for the hose was unbelievably high. Can anyone confirm if this price is right and/or where to get a cheaper hose? I'm going to hold off on this repair as frankly I just don't have the money to do this right now.
Thoughts/Suggestions?
