How can I tell it's a T5???
I've been shopping online for a used S60. I had owned a 2005 2.5T, so I am familiar with them. I've noticed some that are advertised online to be a T5, but when I look at the engine pics, the turbo hose doesn't look any larger than the one on my 2.5T. Other than the obvious emblem on the back of the car, are there any other tell-tale signs that the engine is a T5?

Look at the displacement sticker under the hood, if you see 2319cc, it's a T5 (only if the hood wasn't changed from a T5 donor car)
The T5's intercooler pipe is wider and fatter than the 2.5t's intercooler pipe. And the airbox for the T5 has a plastic tube (ram air effect from grille to airbox) that is about 1.5" higher than the 2.5t's plastic tube. Hope this helps.
really, I can't think of any other features that tell T5s apart from the rest.
drive the car, if it pulls hard, it's either an upped boost 2.5t or a stock T5.

I looked up engine bay pix of both cars. I definately have a 2.5T. There is a ram air intake thing in the 2005 but the 2.5T ram air intake thing is much smaller. The T5 intercooler pipe across the engine is also larger than the 2.5T Other than that, the engine is identicle looking at first glance.
