Hey, so I have a 2009 Volvo S60 with an HU-850 in it. I was planning on installing an aftermarket radio on it. My brother had a 03 V70, we installed an aftermarket Pioneer AVH-X3700BHS HU when he first got it, now that its totaled, we took out the harness and aftermarket HU from it hoping it would just pop into mine. I see that it looks to have 2, one 6 pin, one 8 pin factory amp cables going to the back of the HU-850, and im ASSUMING, its for the left and right. I was doing some research online and came across an Metra 70-9223 Amp Wiring Harness. My question is do i have to splice 2 of those Metra 70-9223 Amp Wiring Harness's together, so I don't bypass the Factory Amp? or am i completely retarded? Some one please point me in the right direction
