2011 S60 T6.

Ignition, radio etc, stay on after stopping engine and exiting car

 

We have the same problem with ours. It does go off once you lock the doors either on the handle set or the fob.

 

Anyone have possible causes?

 

Not a mechanic but basic problem solving. IF it goes off when you lock the car but not open the door, the sensor that detects if the door is open when running is faulty. I'm not sure where that sensor actually is, but it would have to be the one in the driver door.

 

To clarify on the instrument cluster when the car is turned off it shows the message ignition still on. Has nothing to do with the doors being opened or closed at least for our car.
