Instrument Cluster Losing Power
I have a 2004 Volvo s60r and after about 10 minutes of driving the instrument cluster loses all power. Also when this happens the windows and door locks don't work. I'm thinking there's something wrong with the central electronic module or instrument cluster. Has anyone else experienced this problem and know a fix?

I have a 2006 S60 2.5T and the remote sometimes doesn't unlock the doors, when this happens I drive the car for 10 minutes and the Locks Pop up like I hit the remote. When the remote doesn't open the locks the sunroof will not open or close, then when the locks pop up the sunroof works fine. I replace the remote battery and the car battery but still have this intermittent issue. Oh and the SRS airbag service urgent/passenger side airbag off service urgent error message gets thrown. I reset it once and it stayed off until the remote stopped working and then it came back. I am thinking it is the CEM central electronic module, but can't tell since I can't get my Bootlegged copy of VIDA to work and don't want to go to the dealer since they are so expensive.
Sorry I am not sure what is causing your issue but there are video's of removing the DIM drivers information Module and re-soldering the boards connections. It may be the 5 Volt regulator that heats up after 10 minutes and then stops supplying the voltage needed for you instrument cluster. You can also send that part out to have serviced for 200 bucks in New Jersey with a fast turnaround.
Hope this helps
