My son has a 2002? S 60 (non turbo model) and about 120K on the ticker. I had checked some online sources and it didn't appear the vavles were interference fit. I am not seeing concerns with damage from broken timing belts. I know the belt is due but are we critical?

I am also interetested in the completity of changing the belt. On a working at home level I would say I am a solid 7 or maybe an 8. Can we do this at home or head for the shop.

We are putting A-arms in right now so if we need to keep going now is the time to do it.
