Reading the reviews on the IPD inserts I read some complaints about an inability to press the inserts all the way in. I was curious so I followed their instructions and put the grease into the rear bushings while the subframe was dropped. I used less on the second one but the grease pumped up right through to the top of both of the bushings. If the subframe had been in place, that grease would have jammed into the bushing and kept the insert from pressing all the way in. Hence the complaints on the review. The video below shows a different, if not clumsy one handed approach to the install that should drop the total time for an average two handed install to well under 2 hours including jacking the car and supporting the subframe to keep it from moving and messing up your alignment. As you'll see in the video I used the service jack to brace the frame. The car was actually supported by four jack stands at the time and my floor jack would have been overkill. You use what you have to get the job done

Also notice where the grease ends up post press. I hope the video helps some folks considering this install. It's extremely simple and straight forward. Don't let the install reviews scare you.
