Default Just get the car, and a CEL

Well I guess im not surprised because it has 160k miles but anyway. 2001 s60 t5 5 speed. Yesterday afternoon the CEL came on so today I went to auto zone and got it checked. It was a P1171 code so with some research I found out this is most likely due to the MAF. If someone can confirm this and agree that it just needs to be cleaned, it would be much appreciated!

Read through this thread. It's specific to the C70 but the P1171 (Long Term Fuel Trim (Upper Limit) is the same through the Volvo ME7 cars.

Our cars are rather picky about the MAF (and the O2 sensors for that matter) so if you wind up replacing them, make sure you steer clear of generic parts. Bosch or nothing!

OK, since getting the car ive noticed that Bosch seems to be the way to go when getting parts.
