Keep waking up to dead car in morning
For the last three days, and six or seven times over the last month or so I have woken up to find that my car was dead and needed to be jumped. I've been to the shop multiple times and they keep telling me that the charging system is fine and the battery is not great but does not need to be replaced either. Anyone have any clue about this? Any common parasitic draws i could look for? I also disconnected a back door panel speaker around the same time this happend. I dont see how the two could be related but at this point i am at a loss for any understanding. I appreciate any input.

Do you have an alarm system service message that comes up in the display?
If so I will be the alarm siren is bad and it keeps going off in the middle of the night killing the battery.

So this is still happening and now just recently I heard the alarm going off about 5 am. What is the next step? Can this be fixed easily or does it need to go to a volvo shop?
Alarm siren needs to be replaced. Someone on here has removed the siren and opened it up and found that is has a battey that was dead and replaced it and it worked fine.
If you buy a new one and replace it you might not have any problems. After installing it really needs to be reset by Volvo's computer.
