Default Knocking Sound While Driving

Hello, everyone.

I have a 2002 volvo s60. When I was driving, an intermittent knocking sound can be heard from the front (the passenger side) especially over the bumped road. Does anyone know which part would possibly casue this problem?

Thank you!

First guess is right front suspension. Tie rod ends wear over time and in most cars the sound of failing is a clunk over bumps. Bushing problems may also exist where metal is banging on metal when the bushing (a rubber donut type of thing) is torn or worn. Could also be loose suspension components. Don't fool around with this. Have someone who knows what they are doing take a look.
