Led bulbs
I have a 2003 s60 and I just wanted to add LED bulbs. What are some just plug in bulbs or do I also need a headlight. If I do what are some headlight because I haven't found any for this car.
Why?
If you change the headlamps, brake lights, rear parking lights, and maybe others to LED - you will get bulb out warnings. And after spending xxx time and money you MIGHT be able to get rid of the bulb out warnings. Most people easily get rid of the bulb out warnings after LED replacement by putting the correct bulbs back in, and putting the LED bulbs on a shelf in their abode - with a little sign that says - These are cool LED bulbs and I spent xx dollars on them! (you can tell I'm not a fan of the "cool" led bulbs if they screw up built in safety systems on your car)

[QUOTE=hoonk;508521]Why?
It is definitely not just because I want to, but the reason I am asking is because the LED bulb gives me more visibility at night whereas the halogen bulbs has less and is has a more yellowish tint to them (I do a lot of night driving).

The reflectors in your headlamps are designed for Halogen bulbs - not LED bulbs. You might try looking at this opinion (if you have H11's)

I highly recommend spending $300 on a new set of TYC headlights from ebay/amazon. I had to do that on my 2006 S60 and the headlights were able to light up the road a lot better. OE Volvo Headlights are way too expensive IMO and the TYCs are made well and fit properly. I use the hella brand bulbs from FCP. Brighter light and lifetime replacement when they go out. Like Hoonk said, LED bulbs will cause more problems than they will fix and are not made for headlight assemblies that are designed for halogens. The light will shoot everywhere and will light up the road a good 15ft in front of you and blind incoming drivers. Get headlight bulbs online, the ones in the parts stores are overpriced. More variety and brightness/ color options online. Even through rock auto.
