Default Light vibration when accelerating

Recently my s60 2.5T 2004 with geartronic and with 81k miles developed some hesitation/vibration for a short period of time when accelerating strongly. It is not clear if it is transmission or engine related. I may have got bad gas or the transmission is acting up or something else. The ATF has less than 10kmiles as I flushed it last fall and I checked the ATF level and it is right where it should be. I thought about the ETM failure but my s60 is a 2004 and I believe the ETM common issues were on earlier models. I have no code at all. If it was a misfire from a bad spark plugs or coil I think I would have a code. So not sure what to start with.

Well, I am not too successful in getting answer to my questions on this forum. Same thing with my previous post....anyway I found out what was wrong. I had a bad coil and this is what created the vibration/stuttering when accelerating hardly. What was strange is that I did not get any error code at the beginning. I drove the car with this problem for about 100 miles and still did not get an error code. The first thing I did then was to change the park plugs. That did not improve anything, the car was still stuttering on hard acceleration, but this time I got the engine light on. I read the code and it told me that there was a misfire on cylinder 2. I figured it could be either the coil or the injector but not the plug since I just changed all of them. I swapped cylinder 2's and 3's coils and sure enough the code change from misfire cyl 2 to misfire cyl 3. I replaced the faulty coil and the car works like a charm again. At the beginning I was concerned that it could have been the transmission because it felt more like a vibration in the gear when accelerating rather than a misfire, like if the car had difficulty to find the right gear and also because I did not get any error code. I am glad it was just a bad coil.
