Default Need a Little S60 buying advice gents!

I flirted with a BMW 3 series, but no bargains to be had there. SO now I'm choosing between two S60's. Can you help me?

They are almost identical.

1. 2004 2.5T, silver/black, very good condition. 67,000 miles. $8800. A little paint chipping on the rear, A/C doesn't get cold on the passenger side.

2. 2004 2.5T, silver/black, very good conditoin. 86,000 miles. $8500. No discernable problems.

KBB says the difference in mileage is worth about $1000 -- which seems like a lot to me. Is the extra 20,000 miles worth $300? (I don't mind the paint chipping, and we have to assume the A/C problem is easily fixable? Maybe it isn't.)

Could use your advice! Thanks so much everyone!

New to Volvo ownership here, but can give you a comparison point. Just bought a 2004 S60 5T. Black, very good condition, no dents scrapes or chips. Single owner in TX. Everything works. 45K miles. I paid $10,000. So far, I'm very happy with the car.

AC could be the evaporator going bad. That's a $1300 repair. Since a Volvo will go forever, I wouldn't be afraid to go with the one with 86K.

In that mileage range, I would go for the one with slightly higher mileage also.

I just bought my 06 2.5T with ~35k for 18,500 OTD, so it sounds like you're getting a good deal!
