need new tires - input?
I'm looking for a new set of performance all seasons for my '05 S60, and i had settled on the Conti ExtremeContact DWS only to find that they're nationally back-ordered for at least 3 months in the size i have on the car now (215/55 R16). They are, however, available in a 225/50 16, which the car should be able to accommodate on the factory rims correct? Also, ive heard some people say that the lower profile sidewalls will decrease body roll a little bit, but ive heard others say the opposite, so unsure where the truth lies on that one.
I was also looking at the Potenza RE960AS Pole Position, but i've heard they dont handle the snow quite as well.
Anyone with any tire advice either way, or a new suggestion, your input would be greatly appreciated. I've got some tread left on this set but they need to get swapped out before it snows. Thanks in advance

The RE960AS is a NICE tire. I do NOT recommend Continental tires on anything. Had a lot of troubles with them. Cheaply made, they are. You get what you pay for, generally speaking, in a tire. I run Falken Ziex 512 tires on my 740, and love them.
I too am looking for tires. Have a S60 AWD with Sport and the P6's I have dont look like they will make it through this winter. I have been looking at Yokahama. Does anyone know anything about the AS530? I ahve Avid's on my wifes Honda and they are great. NTB only has the 530's for my 60.
