Default Need Transmission Help QUICK!!!

My wife drives an 04 S60 T5. Today her purse was stolen and the only key to the car was in it. We are in the middle of trying to get it towed but so far no wrecker company will tow it if they are unable to shift the trans in to neutral. Is there a shift-lock over ride lever, where is it, and how do I getthis thing out of park. Pop-a-lock is enroute and the tow truck dude is getting rather impatient. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brian

Disconnect the battery and it should come right out of park.

I don't have a key, will it unlock just by disconnecting the battery.

There is no release button.
Lift up the cover if you can and look for a cable that has a clip that is yellow.
Release the cable then see if it comes out of park.
That is the cable that tells the shifter the key is in the ignition.
Once released it might work then.
