Question New guy who needs some help on a decision.

So I've been looking for used cars lately. I've wanted to make the move to an E46 M3, but I am a goalie in hockey so I have a pretty big bag and I play baseball as well. Somehow my goalie bag fits into my E36 M3 though. I've been looking in my area for awhile and haven't really found any that I like, but just yesterday I found a cool 2004 Volvo S60R that has a body kit, exhaust, chip, and tune so it makes 350hp. I just drove it today and it seems pretty nice. I haven't driven an E46 M3 yet so I can't make a decision yet. I like the looks of the E46, but the S60R has 4 doors which is practical and still looks good. I don't track my cars either so I'm just looking for a daily driver. What do you guys think? Sorry if this is in the wrong forums.

It depends what you're looking for, the S60R is more of an all season car that you can drive everyday. The E46 is more of a sporty performance car. The S60R is also AWD as opposed to the E46 which is RWD. Although they are competitors, they are 2 different cars. The S60R seems more what you're looking for as a DD. It also gets better fuel economy too.

I agree i have a 03 S60 AWD its a non-R so i am giving up 50+hp but the AWD works well in the snow here in the Boston area. If the car has been take care of they are great. Like most Volvo they have to be well maintained. This is Very important. I would see if you can get the service records for the car from Owner.GL
