Hey guys I am new and from Fort Wayne Indiana. I have a 2001 Volvo S60 with a 2.4 turbo. The car has 150k on it and has previously been in a wreck back in 2001. I have owned the car for about 6 months now.

The problem is that one day the Sunroof stopped, as well as the time in the gauge cluster and the truck button. These all went out at the same time, I am pretty tech savvy and have worked on many cars but I seem to have to so much trouble figuring out the volvo. any suggestions?

 

First, welcome to the forum.

I would check your car alarm module. It can cause alot of funky electrical issues. I had the same problem with my s80.

Have you checked the fuses and the like? If so, have you checked anything else?

 

Wow, I grabbed the phob, locked the car, unlocked it and it was magicly fixed!! Why does that do that? Yes I had checked all the fuses and was getting very frustrated that I couldn't find it

 

I have no idea. It is strange. At least your volvo is not possessed like mine. Somehow almost all electrical things run thru the alarm moduel part which is linked to the central computer.

Haha Mine might be possesed as well. Sometimes when Im driving it will just start to run though all my presets all on its own
