Default No air, defrost, heater, and ac 2005 S60

Is this the fan that went out? I have no messages on dash. Got down to 19 degrees last night and fan didn't work this morning. Seemed like the fan pressure has always had a mind of its own. Any suggestions before I take it to the shop.

Put the fan on high...is the fan working? I changed mine out in a hr $110cad. it could also be a resistor. do a search to troubleshoot.

Default Blower heater motor

I banged under the globe box and the fan started up, it sounds pretty rough. Sounds like a new blower motor is needed. I opened the hood and noticed that there is a broken arm that looks like it was used to adjust the air distribution by the blower motor. Do you know what the arms are called?
