Default O2 sensor replacement?

Hi everyone,
My check engine light came on recently and it read P0037 when I scanned it. Upon looking that up I found that it is probably the O2 sensor. I was wondering if I would need to have it replacedor can I do it myself? Do I need special tools? and the replacement part... should I buy the OEM or would another part work as well?
Thanks for the help.

Turbo or not?
Turbo uses Bosch. Some of the non-turbo cars use Denso sensor.
Buy a Bosch or Denso depending on which sensor you have. You will also need an O2 sensor socket. It isn't that hard to replace.

You have to get one specific to your car.

I forgot to ask whether this problem is before or after the catalytic converter? and where it would be located in my car?

According to my book it is the rear O2 sensor. It will be after the cat.
