Hey! I'm in a desperate need for help! I'm in search for someone with a v60 with the d5 egine. mine is from 2011. I know there is no physical dipstick. I may guess my eletricone is broke. So, i need some help from someone with the same egine , to look for the short grey dipstick in the front of the egine s
and tell what level the oil should be! Thanks!

Don't know if anything will show on the dummy stick when full. If in doubt - drain the oil and put the correct volume in.

Or - Volvo shows a dipstick available for the d5244.(for the police version) The 2.4 engine uses the same oil pan as the 2.0 (5204). So a permanent manual solution might be to fit a dipstick tube and real dipstick.
