I can provide some general guidance. If your vehicle doesn't have a physical dipstick, it likely relies on an electronic oil level monitoring system. In such cases, it's best to consult your vehicle's owner's manual or contact a Volvo dealership or authorized service center for accurate information on how to check and interpret the oil level using the electronic system. They can provide you with the specific instructions and guidance you need to determine the appropriate oil level for your Volvo V60 with the D5 engine. They may also be able to assist you in diagnosing any issues with the electronic oil level monitoring system if necessary. Remember, it's essential to rely on accurate and vehicle-specific information to ensure the proper maintenance and functioning of your vehicle.
v60 d5 egine. 2011. I know there is no physical dipstick.
what level the oil should be!
Don't know if anything will show on the dummy stick when full. If in doubt - drain the oil and put the correct volume in.
Or - Volvo shows a dipstick available for the d5244.(for the police version) The 2.4 engine uses the same oil pan as the 2.0 (5204). So a permanent manual solution might be to fit a dipstick tube and real dipstick.
