Has anyone had any luck finding a cheaper oil filter. I live in MI and the only thing that you can find around me that is not a GM part is a ford part. I see on ebay that they sell pretty cheap. Are the Mann filters anygood? I am also interested in doing some performance mods to it. What would the best order be and where do I find them? Thanks

 

I've been using the mann filters and found them to be a perfect fit. Everything I've read in regard to volvo's recommends them. Check out

I almost forgot, the cheapest volvo parts I've found are from( http://www.volvopartsdirect.com/) I've placed several orders and been very happy.

 

My Volvo dealer does not charge me any where near $6.84 for a filter................. I looked up Volvoparts as you suggested.

 

you mean that you can get filters cheaper than 7 bucks, the first one i purchased was at autozone and it was almost 15. What dealer are you using? Anyone know a good dealer in michigan?

Hastings makes OEM filters for most auto manufacturers. I know that AC/Delco oil filters are Hastings.

Order Hastings Premium Oil filters from any independent import auto parts store.
