Default Oil pressure issue

Hello,

I have a 2001 S60 with the 2.4T and I am having oil pressure issues. Background: This started out as a low oil pressure issue. I replaced all the seals and gaskets and when I removed the oil pump it was full of hard gunk....I bought a new OEM oil pump and now I am getting high oil pressure that is blowing out the seal on the crankshaft at the pump. I replaced the entire PCV system and it is still happening. I dont know what to do next? Today I am dropping the oil pan and cleaning out the ports for the PCV system, but if that doesnt work I am at a loss......UPDATE: it didnt work

Sorry more info, I put a manual oil pressure gage on it and even with the blown seal on the oil pump and the dipstick removed, I am getting 40 psi at cold idle and about 30 at warm idle. I then rev up the engine to approx 2000 rpm and the oil pressure goes over 80psi. I am sure this is what is blowing out me seals because if it is this high with a blown seal.

Is there an oil pressure relief valve on these that I am not aware of?

Thanks,
