Default one headlight problem

only the drivers side headlight is working. i checked the bulb and tested for power at the headlight. there is no power. there are alot of connectors behind the headlight and i cant see where the wire leads from the bulb. is there a connector i can test to see where im loosing the power? could the shunt cause on headlight to fail not both? is there a resistor for each headlight?
lots of questions its getting dark and ill go back to working on it tomorrow hopefully with a better idea what im looking for.
thanks

no i didnt that would be too simple. i never expected the car to have a seperate fuse for each high and low beam. it had to be a more complicated problem. thanks so much for saving me the time of taking the whole front end apart tracing the wire.

Some of the cars even have 2 seperate fuses per low beam.
