Has anyone installed an Optima battery in their S60? I have a 01 T5 and need a new battery and regular ones are close to 100 and have always liked Optima batteries better. Their website doesn't list any but how different can they be?

 

I was going to do it in my s80 due to my 3000 watt stereo. Long story short, the cable for the power and/or ground were not long enough ( had this done at tweeter). Other than that they said it was going to fit, but I declined to do it, I didnt want them to mess around with the main power cable.

 

Not sure of the S60, but I have used the Optima Battery in my previous 97 Saab 9000 Aero and loved it. They have a choice of top or side mounting and instead of going to their website you can get one at Sears or PepBoysand then havea place to return if needed. Good-luck.
