Default P2 S60 T5 | Doubled Fuel consumption

So my car has been acting up as of last week. My fuel consumption usually is around 10.8L/100km. Sunday morning on my commute I saw it jump to around 14. Throughout the day it managed to jump up to around 25, increasing at a stoplight. Instantaneous fuel consumption reads very high, once came out at around 95L/100km.

My fuel URL is now filled with gas and I am out of a car because I don’t want to risk anything.

Ive cleaned my maf, and I pulled the spark plugs to see if perhaps there’s a leaking injector and there’s a lot of carbon build up; there isn’t. I tried to pull the heat shield and one of the bolts snapped.

Before I go any further, anyone have any ideas of what is happening? Perhaps there’s a common issue that I’m missing?

fuel URL? do you smell gas? do you have a check engine light on or have you scanned for fault codes? were the plugs black/wet? Assuming you don't have a fuel leak of sorts, the likely cause is a fuel mixture problem. You can use a OBD2 tool to scan live data but I'd be looking at things like a vacuum leak/intake air leak, exhaust leak first then consider testing out the front O2 sensor. After that I'd look to see if you can measure fuel pressure.

Sorry, fuel url should be there’s fuel in the oil. When I pulled the plugs they looked normal, we’re not wet or too black. I do have a Dice scanner tool if that can be used to get live data about the fuel mixtures. Let’s say the fuel pressure reads too high or too low, what would the culprit be? Bad pump? Bad regulator?
