PCV Diaphragm has a hole in it HELP
Hi Peeps,
First time post.
My wife has a 2016 V60 Premier wagon and she said "The car is squealing!" Maybe a little louder than that.
I checked the usual suspects and searched the web and found something about the PCV diaphragm might be the culprit.
Took the engine cover off (T45's) and found the snap on cap over the diaphagm, (who thought of the spelling for that??)
Snapped off the cap and found that indeed the diapragm hasd a slit in it. Searched everywhere for a replacement and found
about 20 different recommendations and prices.
I did a temp fix using a small pice of electrical tape with the edges sealed with super glue and no more noises,
It has a very slight inflow to the oil filler cap but not as dramatic as when it had the slit.
Any source of the right diaphragm replacement???
