I am having a little problem here. I took the cam sprocket off of the back side of the motor, made sure I marked its position but what I didn't realize was the big part on the end of the cam did not come off with the sprocket. Long story short the cam has definitely turned and I have no clue how to tell if I am putting the sprocket back on correctly. All three possible positions line up correctly but can not seem to find any markings anywhere on the cam/cap.

I noticed there is a notch on the rear of the sprocket, it is supposed to line up with?

I'm desperate. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: I found what I was looking for about 10 links deep from a bunch of other posts after a lot of searching. Problem solved.
