Default Possible turbo leak

I have a 2002 s60 turbo awd. It has water in the oil. A new head gasket, and water pump installed 3 months ago, new radiator 2 weeks ago. What other causes can ther be......I'm all out of ideas

If I had to put money on it, I would say it is probably a poor seal with the new head gasket. Was the head re-machined to ensure a flat mounting surface? Were new stretch bolts used? Proper torque sequence?

If you're positive the head gasket is not to blame, the oil cooler is another possible source. I believe it is an oil to water style heat exchanger.

The head gasket was replaced professionally at a local garage. They seem to think it's something with the turbo. It looks like there are cooling and oil lines running to it, but I don't know if there is any way for them to leak into each other. I don't know if they had the head machined. I just don't know if they did a poor job on the last repair. or if it's something new.....thanks for your reply.

Do you know if the oil cooler is accessible, or is it in the oil pan?

The turbo center section is oil lubricated, water cooled. Not sure it is possible for them to mix unless there is a crack in the casting. I just don't know enough about the design to give an educated guess.

Based on a quick google image search, it appears to be bolted to the backside of the oil pan. Looks like a very simple replacement.
