Potential Problems of a 2006 S60 2.5t AWD
Hi all, new to the forum, considering buying a 2006 s60 2.5t AWD with 88k on for just under 9 grand. Dealer is currently replacing wheel bearings, tire rods and doing a front wheel alignment. Car has a few cosmetic blemishes but otherwise is in good condition. Car comes with a 30 days/3000 mile warranty. Just curious what other maintenance problems I might encounter since its close to the 100k mark. Carfax is attached, any help is appreciated!!

On an AWD make sure you look at the Angel Gear . They tend to leak and this is problem that just gets worse if it happens. The Angel Gear is connected to the transmission and has the prop shaft that goes to the back wheels coming out of it. Just in case you are unsure of where it is. Look at it for any signs of leaking at the seals. Most times you can see the discolor from the fluid on the Angel-gear itself if its leaking. Timing belt full Kit will need to be done at 100k that's a $800 job.Trany fluid could also be replaced at 100k that's a $300 job.... GL
