Default Potential Volvo S60 R Owner in NZ

Hey guys,

I come from a background of Peugeots, have a couple in my collection at the moment and just like some Peugeot owners, wanting to go to the other side (Volvo), I am looking at a Volvo for myself.
I have always been a HUGE fan on an S60R and waited for one to come available to buy in NZ. There is one for sale at the moment, its a;
2003 S60R, auto, 155kms, Jap Import.

Instead of lugging hours on this forum trying to read more info for them, I thought if someone would politely, write me a list of stuff that can go wrong on them, common faults, what to look out for, etc.

Also, are the Auto transmissions in these any good? I would be driving spiritedly so it may take a thrashing or 6.

Any info would be greatly appreciated and happy to spread knowledge on Peugeots if anyone is interested (lol)

Cheers,
Patrick.

Hi and welcome to the site.

The best thing to do is go to New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews | Cars.com and read reviews there. That seems to be the place that people go to complain about cars.

I think the S60 from '04 and newer are better to purchase.
