Default Q about Volvo S60 2001

Hi ppl,

I`m new here, this is my 1st post, so I decided to ask you something.

A few days ago I bought Volvo S60, 2.4 (petrol and lpg). Everythin` is great except 2 things that I`d like to check.

1. My message board is in Italian language. I called local dealership, and they told me that translating Italian to English would cost 200 EUR including tax. That is too much! I live in Bosnia, and average monthly income in our country is about 350 Eur, givin 200 Eur only for language is really expencive. Is there any other way to translate it?

2. Sometimes while I drive there is Red exclamation shown, and Message in display "Temp motor alta, stop immediato" - that Means "High motor temperature, stop immediately". BUT, that message shows less than 1 seccond and dissapears. Only the third time I was able to read it. Cooling system is fine, fluids also. What could be the problem?

Thank you very much!

find a shop that has the vida/dice setup and they can reset the info from italian to english.

the same shop with the setup can read volvo specific codes stored in the ECM, that are triggering the message.
