Default Questions Regarding a S60

I am looking at a 2002 S60 Volvo with the 2.4 T engine. It has 88,000 miles on it and driven mainly on extended trips. It has leather seats, moon roof and the trans with 5 speed auto with manual also. Excellent condition. Dealer asking 10,700. It has a couple of dozen hail dents and dealer will have these removed. What do you think of price? Previous owner had Volvo dealer change oil and he used a dino oil. With this amount of miles can I switch to synthetic now? Thank you!

Thats not a bad price.
You will be fine switching to sunthetic oil.

How reliable is the 2002 S60? This car has 88000 miles on it and the original owner has had NO problems of any kind during this time. Of course, over the next 88000 miles it COULD be different! The local mechanics tell me that if any problems incur that it will have to be taken to a volvo dealer as they can't work on it. Opinions?

They are pretty relaible. As long as the maintaince is done then you should be fine for a while.

I got a 2001 S60 2.4T with 85K miles. I paid 10500 for it. Froom the orginal owner. They just put new tires, 75KMiles maint. and all the paper work. Dealer I go to said it was a great price. Just look at Cars dot com and see how good of deal you got.
