Radio-CD/Cassette work, but no AM/FM Reception
01-S60 w/HU 613-
The radio quit picking up reception, but the cd and casette players work just fine.
Ideas? Antenna(s)?
found one amp, but not the second for the "dual diversity" (?) antennas (?)
If only one amp goes out, will that cause the loss of reception completely?
Also, after nothing but disconnecting the radio and climate control, the "SRS-Service Airbag Urgent"(?)
message come on, do I need the dealer to reset?

RE: Radio-CD/Cassette work, but no AM/FM Reception
Both am & fm recieve nothing, as would happen if the antenna were to be disconnected. The car is equipped with a "diversity" (dual) antenna system (2 antennas). After much research, I have discovered there's a switch in the radio which decides which antenna is receiving the best signal and utilizes it. So, it appears that either the switch in the radio is bad, or "both" amplifiers on each antenna is bad. I am just lookng for a way to find out which before I "un-necessarily" hand the volvo dealer large $'s for a part I don't need.
