My message center on the dash constantly says the rear passenger door is open. I've opened and closed it several times to no avail. The message is still on. What can I do about this and what might be the problem. Is this something I can fix myself or do I have to pay a dealer to fix?

 

Most likely the door lock assembly is bad.

You could change it your self.

 

How much does this usually cost for the replacement kit?

 

Not really sure I mainly mess with fixing them. Don't really keep track of the prices.
Can't find one online either call the Dealer and get a price. I think it is like $100.00 to $200.00 or so.
