Rear doors stay locked (child lock is off) + Glove box seems lose
Hi everyone.
2001 Volvo S60, 2.4L non-turbo
My first main problem is this: The child safety lock is OFF, but the doors behave as if it is on. If you unlock the doors with the front seat switches or the key fob, then the doors all unlock and can all be opened. But, if you try to just pull the handle on the rear doors while they are locked, it will not automatically unlock it like the front doors will. Rather, you have to reach over and pull the lock up by hand, or wait for someone to unlock it for you.
Any way to fix this, or is this just how the rear doors are supposed to be?
And the second (minor) problem: The glove box seems to be a little loose. When it is closed, the left side is maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch lower than the right side. If I push up on the left side, the gap becomes uniform. It's not a big deal, but if there is some bolt or something I can tighten, I would prefer that. Am I out of luck or no?
Thanks!
Sean
