Recent timing belt change, Code P0014
Hello, lots of great info on this site. Need some guidance PLEASE! Changed the timing belt on my 2001 S60 2.4 Turbo. The timing mark can't be seen on the exhaust cam which was making it challenging. Engine was having a hard start; readjusted the timing (off by a few teeth on the exhaust cam) and is now my car is running well except...
After second morning driving to work the Check Engine Light came on and is giving a Code P0014; camshaft position actuator. I did not have the code prior to changing the timing belt I have read that the timing could be off by 1 tooth.
Any suggestions to locate the hash mark on the exhaust cam..is it to the left of the little "M" on the cam? Or which direction should I try an adjustment from its current position - clockwise or countercloskwise by 1 tooth?
Thanks!
