Hello all! New member here. I recently bought a 2006 S60 2.5T AWD (first car) and I love it except for a few exterior minor cosmetic issues. I took it to an independent volvo mechanic today who said the brakes on it both front and rear were horrible and he put in new discs and pads. It came out to be $751 before tax. Was this reasonable? He also said that it needs a new timing belt and front outer tie rods. I know the timing belt is important and I am planning on getting that fixed next week. What would be a reasonable price for this service? It has 109,800 miles and only had one previous owner. Also, if anybody in the NJ area knows a good mechanic that lets you bring your own parts, that would be appreciated
Thanks!
