Reduced performance

Changed the battery in s60 to. Now reduced performance message comes on and the check engine light is on.

Your first step would be to scan the car with an appropriate scan tool to find out what the car thinks is wrong. What year is your car?

That's a fuel pressure code with many possibilities - one is the car is almost out of gas. You would need to check fuel pressure, maybe duty cycle - stuff like that to get answers.
