ok so my used S60 came with only one key. gotta get another.....local dealer told me about $500 with "programming".....so this sounds shocking to me.....is there another way to get a key or that it? I'm sure somebody has looked into this before. thanks pat

 

Your going to need the Dealer to program it , even if you purchase one from someone else. $500 is way high. Should be closer to around half that price with a purchase of a key.
Find another Volvo dealer in your area to price them.

 

i ordered a new key with fob- cut for my car from a volvo dealer in stamford CT today...i think it cam to $175....now i just have to find a dealer to program it!
