I just purchesed my wife a 02 s60 t about a month ago yesterday I drove it and noticed that it idles rough also it makes quite a bit of noise almost like a slight knock is this normal? the car only has 24000 miles on it and is still under factory warrenty any advice will be greatly appreciated

 

My 02 S 60 is not turbo, but I've never noticed a rough idle. Don't really have any idea what might be causing it.

 

Ya I talked to a local volvo repair shop he said to try some injector cleaner well see if it works thanks for the response.......Jerry

 

Make sure they clean the throttle body as well.

 

ya he mentinod that but with only 25000 miles on it would it be normal for it to be gummed up already? thanks for the response.......Jerry

 

These newer cars are getting Gummed up at like 15k.

In MY Opinion it should be done every 20k.

The throttle body's are setup so fine and take minor readings and can get messed up with a minor film of carbon.
