Rough idle at first start-up
I have an '01 S60 T5 with 120k on it. It just recently has had a sort of rough idle for the first 3-4 seconds upon the first start up of the day. I watch the tach and it sits right at 1k but this happens so quick I don't think registers. I can feel the whole car shutter - kind of like when you stall a manual car by letting off the clutch when in gear, except the car doesn't actually stall - just shutters for about 3-4 seconds. I haven't had any issues later on in the day, just after it's sat overnight. Any ideas?
A few of us have had this problem. Here's another thread on it:

Hello all,
I have had the same issue with my 97 850 at around 215 000 km. I had PCV work done, clean and replace parts but not at the dealer as the are very expensive (over $1200). PCV system is located inside the engine.
PCV is a lot of labour as the intake has to be taken off and fuel line disconnected. Not really a DIY unless you have the tools and a whole day and soem knowledge of the engine.
Hope this helps.
