I JUST PURCHASED MY FIRST VOLVO. ITS A 2001 S-60 AND HAS 80K ON IT. I CARRIED IT AND HAD MY FAMILY MECHANIC TO DO A SERVICE REPLACE TIMING BELT WATER PUMP ETC. IT HAS AN EXPLAINATION POINT ON THE DASH THAT WE CANNOT FIND OUT WHAT TO FIX. WE CHECKED ALL THE LIGHTS, HEADLIGHTS, TAILLIGHTS TURN SIGNALS ETC... IT GIVE A LIGHT CODE.... IT ALSO HAS THEAIR BAG LIGHT ON. THE HEAD LIGHTS NEED TO BE ADJUSTED AND THE BRIGHT LIGHT WILL NOT STAY ON.... THETURN SIGNALWILL PULL BACK AND THEY COME ON BUT WONT STAY ON BRIGHT... IT CAME WITH NO OWNERS MANUAL.....WE LIVE NEAR CHATT, TN AND JUST WANT SOME POINTER...

 

ABS light is most likely a bad ABS module search the forum for where to get it rebuilt.

If you hit the button on the end of the turn signal switch it will tell you the message that is causing the !. It will say something.

Air bag light codes will need to be read and cleared.

Adjustment of headlights search the forum for hot to do it.

Are the headlights in the position for the headlights or for the day time running lights? headlight position is all the way to the right.
