S60 Cambelt replacemnt
I have just replaced the cambelt as per the book, the car is now not going very well at all, i have checked and re checked, even repeating belt fittment producures. The vvt on which is only on the inlet cam, i can move the cam gear by hand, to me this cannot be right, not sure what to do from here. Could ther be a problem in the vvt broken spring or something.
Thanks

if you are changing the t-belt only, you don't really need to lock the cam as long as you marked the right timing before you took the belt off, also by the time you had the belt off, don't move the camshaft timing then you should b fine. after belt installation, did u the engine by hand to change if you got the belt on right??
Brent: Your question is not clear. What motor does your car have? Turbo or Non? Did you use any specific instructions when doing the belt? What parts did you replace? Have you tried to start the car? Have you turned it over by hand? Did you make sure timing marks were aligned when you started? What are you needed help with?
