Hello, I have an S60 D5 2002 model with 175k on the clock, The message box lights up dim green but with no characters showing, on occassion, i get a message in full " service due" etc.Is there a solution to this or what is required to fix problem? I would appreciate any comments, Thanks, Steve.

 

I don't know if I understand what you are saying, but if the message box is dimly lit the light bulb that is in behind it is burned out. The cluster removes easily once you pull the plastic surround back. Four screws and one electrical plug and it is out. The bulbs are in plastic holders and I believe are dealer only at a ridiculous high price.
