Default S60 Rear Spring Replacement

I installed rear Eibach springs this weekend and it was quite a challenge. I used what information I could find from here and the swedespeed.com forum. I've detailed my installation session with some pics at:http://sdbhost.com/testsites/VolvoS6...arSprings.html for others considering a rear spring install. Although it was a lot of work, I'm very pleased with the results. After a few days the drop is about 1 1/4" and the ride is firmer but not too stiff. I will be starting on the front struts + springs today or tomorrow...[/align]

Really appreciate it. I'm thinking of lowering my S60 and I'll jump over to your post and check out whether I want to take it on myself.

I'll snap one tomorrow even though the fronts aren't done yet... UPS delivered my 'Iron Wheel' center caps today, (IPD) so I suppose a pic or 2 are in order.

I'm gonna have to risk making the wife mad and get lowering springs for mine.

^^ It's worth the risk! I figured the worst that could happen would begetting banished to the garage. (Then I would have more time with the S60

Looking great, are those 17" pegs. I got 18 inch pegs on mine and looking to lower it. Bought H&R springs recently, just deciding whether i should do it myself. would you happen to have any pictures for the front assembly

Yes, 17" authentic Pegs. I didn't take any pics of the front, but quite honestly, it was a very straight forward strut-type shock replacement with no surprises. (Remove, clamp spring in compressor and disassemble....) I think there is a how-to posted on this board or on the swedespeed forum that is for an 850 but is very similar to the S60.
