I am trying to replace the rear springs on my 850

when i try to remove the lower retaining nut the whole bolt and nut rotates

any idea how to stop this happening


any help would be welcome

There is supposed to be a tab there to hold it into place.You will have to find a big pair of channel locks or something like that to hold it while you loosen the nut.Also if the tab is snapped you might be able to stick a screw driver in both holes once you line them up to hold it.
Look at the other side and see if the tab is still there so you know where it is.
