S60R caliper removal
Please help Mr. Tech or anyone[&:]!! i have been looking for the 2004 S60R repair manual since the stores near me dont have in stock. non the lessin the meantime i want to paint my calipers. i have painted an changed my calipers on my old C70, and not to sound like a sissy but with these big brembos i want to make sure i dont jack something up by not following directions. is this easy to do and is there maybe a link out ther for removal directions??
Thereshould be no different then the other calipers in terms of remove them.
Flushthe brake system, undo the two bolts holding the caliper, and remove it.
There might be a sensor or two attached to the calipers they should just pull off.

You can have someone inside and press the pedal down and hold it and you open the bleeder to bleed them. You would do that till clean fluid would come out.
There should be allens like the C70 calipers but I believe the screws are sunk in the caliper some. But I am not 100% sure.

It should look clear/clean.
But if you are going to paint them, I think you might have to take the caliperoff.
So you might have to drain the system, and then when you put it back together, you add the new fluid.
I haven't painted calipers before so I am not sure of the whole procedure.

You can usually tell the difference from the old fluid to the new fluid. Usually about 2 to 3 times per wheel will get the new clean fluid to the calipers.
Also make sure you keep topping off the fluid so it doesn't run dry.
