I have had for the past several mornings ,my alarm indicator flashing fast and the message of security system service required or check alarm on the message center. Oddly for several nights last week the alarm just started going off in my driveway with nobody around whatsoever. I read somewhere that it could be the battery in my remote, the siren itself going bad or ????? I will say that the issue started the night after I got into a MINOR fender bender when someone hit my right front fender and pushed it in about 4 inches including the front bumper. I have since gotten it fixed but the message still comes up.

Any ideas?

 

It is usually a bad alarm siren.

 

I have an 01' S60. the security system needs serviced light is on all the time and my alarm has work right since i replaced the car battery. Anyone have a idea how to reset the alarm?
