Default Service light reset S60 2005?

I have tried holding the odometer button for 10 seconds while in the #1 ignition posisiton, the warning light flashed and doesn't seem to reset the light eventhough it chimed. Also the dishboard display read '137'.

Anyone know the instructions on how to reset the service light reminder?

Thanks.[8D]

If you got the 137 it didn't reset. Turn to position one Push the button when the milage disappears turn the key to the 2 position and watch it flash 3 times on the 4th let go. Then start it and see if it has gone away.

Howdy. I have not yet tried this myself, as I gave up on the other instructions and actually went to the dealer. When I told the guy what I was doing, he said, "No, not on the later model S60's." So, here's what he said he did:

Make sure the trip meter is in position one (do this before turning off the car after a drive). With the car off, hold down the trip reset button. Turn the key immediately to position two, while continuing to hold the reset button. The triangle in the middle will flash yellow three times. Immediately on the third flash, let go of the reset button. Then start the car as normal (no need to turn key back to position 0 or I), etc.
Good luck!
